Since its institution in 1981, the Mass Communication Program of the University of the Philippines (UP) Cebu has produced many multi-awarded print and broadcast journalists and newsroom managers of the community press in Visayas and Mindanao, particularly Cebu City.
Starting August 2016, the Arts and Humanities Cluster of UP Cebu will offer the revised program Bachelor of Arts in Communication.
