After her BFA in Painting from UP Cebu, Palmy established herself as one of the leading Cebuano female visual artists and became a valuable member of the Arts and Humanities cluster having served as Product Design Coordinator as well as the UP Cebu Arts and Culture Coordinator. At present, she is completing her MA in Queensland University of Technology.
