CCAD continues to strengthen its commitment to industry engagement and community-based creative practice through a series of exploratory partnership meetings with Vibo Place and MyFashionTech. Both meetings were held on the same day in April 15, 2026, and these discussions reflect a shared intent to cultivate meaningful collaborations that bridge academic training with real-world creative industries.<\/span><\/p>\n

The Collaboration with VIBO Place<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n

Partnership with VIBO Place focuses on identifying opportunities for sustained cultural and artistic engagement within one of Cebu\u2019s emerging lifestyle and creative hubs. Central to the discussion is the proposed Sining Cebu Monument Initiative, a project envisioned to celebrate local identity, heritage, and artistic expression through a public art installation. This initiative positions both CCAD and Vibo Place as active contributors to the region\u2019s cultural landscape, fostering a deeper connection between art, space, and community.<\/span><\/p>\n


Beyond this, both parties explored pathways for internship and practicum opportunities for CCAD students, particularly those in Communication and the Arts. These opportunities aim to provide hands-on experience in creative production, cultural programming, and event management within a dynamic, real-world environment.<\/span><\/p>\n


The potential partnership also includes collaborative cultural programming, where CCAD students and faculty may conceptualize and mount exhibitions, performances, and other creative outputs within Vibo Place. Additionally, the use of Vibo\u2019s venues as alternative spaces for artistic and academic activities opens new possibilities for public engagement and interdisciplinary exchange.<\/span>

The Collaboration with MyFashionTech<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n

CCAD also engaged with MyFashionTech, an organization at the forefront of integrating fashion, technology, and education in the Philippines. The discussion highlighted the growing importance of fashion-tech as an emerging field, and the need to equip students with the skills and perspectives necessary to navigate this evolving landscape. Through this potential collaboration, CCAD seeks to connect its students to innovative practices that merge design, digital tools, and entrepreneurship.<\/span><\/p>\n


MyFashionTech presented opportunities for industry-informed learning experiences, including exposure to fashion technology platforms, participation in collaborative projects, and engagement with a broader network of creatives and technologists. <\/span><\/p>\n

The partnership also aligns with CCAD\u2019s goal of expanding its interdisciplinary reach, particularly in areas where art, design, and technology intersect.<\/span><\/p>\n


These prospective partnerships with Vibo Place and MyFashionTech underscore CCAD\u2019s ongoing efforts to create responsive, future-oriented educational experiences. By building bridges between the academe and industry, CCAD not only enhances student learning but also contributes to the development of vibrant creative ecosystems within and beyond Cebu.<\/span><\/p>\n
