The graduating students of the Fine Arts \u2013 Studio Arts Program of the College of Communication, Art, and Design (CCAD) officially open the first batch of their solo thesis exhibitions this May 2026.<\/span><\/p>\n Carrying the collective identity \u201cAkuliktib,\u201d the graduating batch presents a diverse lineup of exhibitions that explore personal narratives, contemporary realities, memory, identity, experimentation, and artistic expression through various media and forms. The month-long series highlights the culmination of years of creative research, studio practice, and artistic development from the graduating Studio Arts seniors.<\/span><\/p>\n The exhibitions invite students, faculty, artists, and the wider public to experience the works and creative visions of the artists through individually mounted thesis exhibits.<\/span><\/p>\n Exhibition Schedule<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n May 9, 2026 (Saturday)<\/span><\/strong> May 10, 2026 (Sunday)<\/span><\/strong> May 11, 2026 (Monday)<\/span><\/strong> May 13, 2026 (Wednesday)<\/span><\/strong> May 15, 2026 (Friday)<\/span><\/strong> May 16, 2026 (Saturday)<\/span><\/strong> As the first half of the thesis exhibition series unfolds, Akuliktib continues to showcase the creativity, individuality, and artistic rigor of UP Cebu\u2019s emerging artists.
