Annie Fe Perez-Gallardo handles broadcasting and multimedia courses in the College of Communication, Art and Design. She is an alumna of UP Cebu’s communication program where she graduated as top of her class in 2014. Right after college, she pursued a career as a TV News and multimedia reporter for ABS-CBN Cebu for 6 years. Today, she still remains as the network’s correspondent covering Cebu and other areas of central Visayas. Perez-Gallardo also writes an opinion column entitled “Verbal Variety” for Cebu’s oldest newspaper, The Freeman. As a journalist, she has trained with the Philippine Center for Investigative Journalism and the Thomson Reuter’s Foundation. Her recent work is with the Earth Journalism Network as a fellow for its ASEAN Masterclass series which is entitled, “Cebu City rushes to implement years-old recommendations against flooding”.

Perez-Gallardo is also currently pursuing her master’s degree in Journalism at the University of the Philippines Diliman. Her research interests include broadcast news critiques, journalism in new media and disinformation.
