Since 2014, Grace has taught major subjects in film, namely: Film Theory, Film History, Documentary Filmmaking, Philippine/Cebuano Cinema, and Film Appreciation at the University of San Carlos. She has held leadership positions in Cebuano Film and Art journals: an Editor-in-Chief of Sinekultura Film Journal, and a co-editor of Tadlas: Critical Essays on Cebu-Based Contemporary Art Practices. She is also a lawyer by profession and is a legal expert in Intellectual Property Law and Obligations and Contracts in relations to creative works.
