BFA/CFA STUDIO ARTS
The Fine Arts Program of the University of the Philippines Cebu was founded in 1975 as the first leading academic institution of the fine arts outside the National Capital.
Drawing from the College of Communication, Art, and Design’s commitment to interdisciplinary scholarship
and public engagement, the Studio Arts Program understands artistic practice as a form of critical research

engages Philippine and global art traditions, contemporary issues, and ethical responsibilities to
communities and the public.
