MediaLab Hub
The MediaLab Hub is a central production and learning facility of the College of Communication, Art & Design that supports Communication students in their media and production courses. Designed as a space for hands-on learning, the hub provides access to essential equipment, software, and workspaces for audio, video, and multimedia production—from pre-production planning to post-production editing.
More than a technical facility, the MediaLab Hub functions as a collaborative environment where students can develop creative concepts, experiment with different media forms, and refine their storytelling skills. It supports a wide range of outputs, including films, documentaries, podcasts, broadcast content, and digital media projects, while encouraging teamwork, critical thinking, and professional practice.
Through guided use and integration into coursework, the MediaLab Hub plays a key role in preparing students for the demands of the media and creative industries, fostering both technical proficiency and creative confidence within the CCAD community at the University of the Philippines Cebu.
