Care leaves traces: in the home that holds it, in the body that carries it, in memory that keeps it.
Hello everyone, I warmly invite you to the opening of my thesis exhibition, Amuma.
Amuma is a Bisaya term for nurturing and caregiving. It explores gestures of care, labor, and support embodied by women in both personal and communal spaces. Through sculptural forms, the work reflects how these everyday actions become the foundation of one’s identity.
Situated within shared experiences, Amuma considers care not as a singular act, but as a continuous and collective process.
Exhibition Opening: May 10, 2026 | 5:30 PM
Venue: Paseo Arcenas, Arcenas St., Banawa, Guadalupe, Cebu City
