Carefully curated by the Philippine Institute of Interior Designers (PIID) Cebu Chapter, this marks its first CPD event of the year, held in celebration of Heritage Month and World Interiors Month.

Day 1: Heritage Plenary Discussion and Workshop Series

Naandang Pagmugna, which translates to “traditional creation” in Cebuano, is a one-day intensive program dedicated to exploring the rich expressive cultures and handmade traditions of Cebu. It serves as the intellectual and creative core of the two-day heritage immersion tour and brings together a thoughtful combination of lectures and hands-on workshops.

Participants engage with the historical, cultural, and material foundations of Cebuano craftsmanship, deepening their understanding of how local traditions, from culinary heritage to traditional crafts, continue to inform contemporary design practice and cultural identity.

As part of this national gathering, interior design professionals, students, and enthusiasts from PIID chapters across the country come together for meaningful learning, creative exchange, and connection, retracing the tracks of legacy through both discourse and making.

This symposium is a CPD event. Points to be announced.
