Comm Program Faculty and Dean of CCAD, Dr. Crina Tañongon, delivered a seminar on April 30 at Lapu-Lapu Cebu International College with faculty members from all departments, together with the administrative and Dormitory Services staff, on how communication constitutes organizational structure, decision-making, and accountability—reframing everyday practices as systems that shape how organizations function.

Drawing from the session’s focus on identifying breakdowns in channels, roles, and response norms, the seminar resonated with the College’s emphasis on continuous improvement—highlighting how making communication processes explicit and shared strengthens institutional identity and sustains a culture of lifelong learning, as underscored by LCIC President Dr. Ethel Agnes Valenzuela.

The session concluded by inviting participants to reflect on their own communication practices and begin strengthening organizational communication as a foundation for clearer systems, more accountable processes, and more adaptive institutions.
