This exhibition presents the culmination of Jovan’s undergraduate research and studio practice. The exhibition explores woven bamboo installations as vessels of memory, labor, and place, drawing from my upbringing in a mountain barangay in Adlaon, Cebu. Through the use of bamboo, rattan, and burlap, the works reimagine forms inspired by agricultural life, translating them into immersive, site-responsive environments.
